Bally AS-2518-151 Power Supply/Voltage Rectifier Board

Power Supply/Voltage rectifier board used in Bally Gold Ball pinball machine. This board is designed as a replacement for the Bally AS-2518-151 found in the lower cabinet of the game. When designing this board Big Daddy didn't just make a copy, he did his research and made improvements and fixed faults the OEM boards and other reproductions had.  One of the best on the market!

Features:

• This rectifier board uses a top mounted bridge rectifier which is a design improvement over the original bottom mounted bridge rectifiers
• Six test points are provided at the top of the board (five for voltages and one for ground) so that even an amateur can easily measure board voltages
• An LED indicator is provided next to each of the 5 voltage test points (TP1 through TP5). The LED is on when voltage is present
• The printed circuit board is fabricated with thick 2 oz. copper and all traces meet or exceed the sizes recommended by IPC-2152 for current capacity
• A ground plane is provided on both sides (top and bottom) of the board. The negative output of the bridge rectifier is connected to the ground planes, which handles the high combined current from the bridge rectifier
• The board mounting holes are identical to existing OEM boards
• (7) brand new standoffs are installed. Not all mounting plates had all the holes drilled but it still keeps the board from flexing when connectors are plugged in. You will need to use your old screws, none are included
• More wording under the fuses give information about their function 
  
• Quality name brand parts are used throughout. Fuses are quality Buss, Littelfuse or Bel fuses
• Fuse spacing is correct compared to many reproductions that can leave as much as 1/2 of the fuse end not contacting the clip causing heat issues, see picture
• This power supply/rectifier board is built with readily available through-hole components to facilitate long term serviceability
