Bally AS-2518-32 or AS-2518-50 Pinball Deluxe Sound Board Repair Kit

After many years of fixing dozens of sound boards, we've compiled a kit that will fix most board problems that are not IC or Amplifier related. The main difference between a -32 and a -50 board are the addition of a capacitor and the sound ROM itself. Since they are swapped around often, this kit contains the extra cap not needed on -32 boards. Note: This kit often fixes weak or no sound, crackling static sound, boot issues and intermittent sound. If you have a sound that never changes, good chance it's the sound ROM itself and this kit will not fix. Tons of -32/-50 sound boards have been brought back to life with this kit, from silence problems to scratchy audio. 

Includes:

• (3) 1uf/25V Axial capacitors for C8, C11 and C23
• (1) 2.2uf/25V Axial capacitor for C6
• (1) 100uf/25V Axial capacitor for C13
• (1) 100uf/100V Axial capacitor for C17
• (1) 2 pin header for J2 speaker output
• (1) 4 pin and 9 pin header for J1
• (1) 1N4007 better sub for CR3 (Note 1)
• (1) 1N4743 better sub for CR4
• (2) 10K VOLUME and SUSTAIN potentiometers
• (1) 4.7K ohm 1 watt metal oxide resistor for R22
• (1) 75 ohm 5 watt cement resistor for R36 (Note 2)
• (1) TIP102 better sub for TIP29 for Q1
  

Note 1: If this diode is bad, game will not boot

Note 2: If yours is burned or shorted, you likely have an amp problem that needs fixed first
